Luton Town’s midfielder, Jordan Clark, expressed his admiration for the valuable addition of former Nigeria international, Victor Moses to the Championship club.
Victor Moses, 33, who recently returned to England after his contract with Spartak Moscow ended, showcased his impact by scoring a remarkable goal against Plymouth Argyle on September 27.
This swift impact has underscored his potential to elevate Luton Town’s performance in the English second tier.
Amid the optimism over his return to English football, his new teammate, Clark, emphasized that Victor Moses brings undeniable Premier League quality and versatility to the team, hoping that the influence of the former Chelsea winger will positively impact the rest of the squad.
“He’s quality; you can see he’s got that Premier League quality,” Jordan Clark told Luton Today.
“He’s had such a good career, so we’re lucky to have him. He’s getting fitter and fitter and fitter; he’s come on and looked a real threat. He took his goal (vs. Plymouth) really well; that’s the bit of quality we need and are probably missing a little bit. So hopefully we can see more of that; hopefully, it rubs off on everyone else, gives us a lift, and we’re looking forward to the next games now and can hopefully get some wins.”
Luton Town’s coach, Rob Edwards, also praised Victor Moses, highlighting his effectiveness in attacking positions.
The coach said, “If we have him on the ball higher, the idea is you play in that shape; you try and get him high on that last line anyway as much as possible. Clearly, he’s more effective when he’s high up, attacking, and that’s where he’s most happy as well, so that’s always the plan. Whether we play him as a winger or as a wingback, no doubt about it, that’s where he’s at his best.”
