“I’m still very much single” – Toke Makinwa
Toke Makinwa has put speculations about her alleged engagement to rest.
The media personality took to X to state explicitly that she is still single.
She added that her parents have been receiving calls about her alleged engagement but nothing of such happened.
She wrote: “did not get married yesterday, I deeply appreciate all your love and prayers, I see how you all desire for me to settle down and God who is the author of time will do it when he thinks it is right. Yesterday was to honor God.
“I owe you all my friends and family too much to have a secret wedding, you all have been through everything with me so know this from me, it was a thanksgiving day and nothing more. Xx
“Una don make my parents receive plenty calls but I know it’s all love, all their friends have called tayaaaaaa, I am very much still singuuuuuuuuuu.”
Toke Makinwa had her 40th birthday thanksgiving on Sunday, October 20, with her friend Farouk Umar present. This led to reports that the event was her engagement ceremony.
