Chomzy responds after being slammed for raising her husband’s ex wife’s son while the mother is alive
Big Brother Naija reality star, Chomzy has hit back after fans called her out for ‘’raising” her husband’s toddler son while the child’s mother is still alive.
Chioma Ndubueze, aka Chomzy, and her husband, Ubani Henry Chinonso, welcomed their first child, a boy, earlier this year and they made the announcement in May 2024.
Prior to that, Chomzy has been stepmother to her husband’s son from a previous relationship.
The boy, named Wealth, turned 1 this year.
In March this year, Chomzy received heat online after she was filmed dancing as the boy’s mother. The boy’s birth certificate immediately began circulating to show that the boy’s mother was listed as Ubani Precious Tochi.
Unfounded allegations claimed the child’s father used his wealth and influence to take custody of the child, allegedly against court ruling.
Today, Chomzy took to X to share a photo of her, her son, and her stepson. Both boys were wearing matching outfits.
In the caption, she referred to herself as “Mummy W&J.”
This did not go down well with some X users who accused her of denying another woman a chance to raise her child.
One X user commented: “Chomzy, I know you birthed your own boy and know how much that entails, don’t you think it is only nice if u tell ur husband to return wealth to his Mum, how would u feel if dis was done to u, dat boy can never be ur son&thank God u have urs..make a mum happy and have a rethink.”
Chomzy replied: “Your very wicked if you want him to go to someone who doesn’t give a fuvk abt him, don’t you like that his healthy and handsome? Do you want him to suffer cuz preferred mummy doesn’t want him?”
Another X user slammed Chomzy, writing: “How are comfortable denying another woman her toddler while yours is with you? How do you sleep at night?”
Chomzy replied: “How are u comfortable tweeting with no brain?”
