Ikorodu City Set For Back-to-back Away Challenge

Ikorodu City are looking forward to a positive outcome in their upcoming NPFL match against Kwara United.

Despite a challenging start to the season with an away defeat, the team is mentally and physically prepared for the upcoming fixture, according to a statement on their website.

“We know back-to-back away games at the start of the season can be overwhelming, especially for a new side like us, but we’ve embraced the challenge,” a statement from the club reads.

“The squad has worked tirelessly over the past two weeks, both mentally and physically and there’s a real belief that we can go out there and deliver.

“Our preparations have been focused and intense and we’re determined to make every moment count this weekend.”

Enyimba on a mission to score goals

Enyimba midfielder Elijah Akanni has expressed the team’s objective of scoring goals in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup match against Etoile Filante.

The team’s primary objective is to advance to the group stage of the competition by either a score draw or a straight win.

“We need to score to qualify. We are looking at scoring as many goals as we can,” Akanni told BSN Sport.

“Our expectations are high. We want to get to the money-spinning stage and the very best of the Enyimba they know. By God’s grace, we believe we will achieve it.”

Niger Tornadoes Focus On Plateau

Niger Tornadoes are fully focused on their upcoming match against Plateau United.

They have put their goalless away draw behind them and are concentrating on their final preparations for the upcoming match.
